Read my article on why Nantucket makes an ideal honeymoon destination in Louisville Bride
The Spring/Summer 2013 issue of Louisville Bride includes an article I wrote about one of my favorite vacation destinations:
Growing up in Massachusetts, my family vacationed on Nantucket a few times. Honestly, I wasn’t so keen on the island then, preferring to travel at a faster pace. In the last several years, however, I’ve returned twice and changed my stance. The first time my wife and I spent a weekend there with my parents at a bed and breakfast; a few years later, we returned for a week, this time with a child of our own, and rented a house with my folks. Twenty-five years or so after my first visits, I learned there’s something to be said for a week of relaxing. And eating.
No PR people to thank for their help this time, but I guess I should express my appreciation to my parents for picking up more than their fair share of the costs.
