Family Travel Magazine just published my second best pointer on traveling with kids in its article, “Flying With a Baby? Here are Some Expert Tips!“:
Print out TSA‘s rules for flying with kids and breastmilk—the agents often don’t know what they are.
My top tip is to call the hotel ahead of time and request a fridge for your room to store expressed breast milk. The medical need means the hotel won’t charge you for the amenity. There’s nothing stopping you from using it to chill a four-pack of Guinness—or not even having your kid with you in the first place.
