Health care + Local issue = Fun, controversial article
The October 2009 issue of Medical News features a two-page cover article I wrote on a controversial topic here in Louisville:
Medical News: The future of the VA Medical Center in Louisville
Touchy subjects like this one are usually fun to research. A long-simmering dispute leads to heated opinions that can be, um, colorful. While my editor decided some of the juicier quotes weren’t appropriate to print (he was right), they were enjoyable to listen to nevertheless.
