Congrats to Abt Associates for winning the Health Systems 20/20 project
Congratulations—again—to Abt Associates, this time for winning the Health Systems 20/20 (HS20/20) project! I edited parts of Abt’s proposal back in March.
HS20/20 is a $125 million, five-year, USAID-funded project. According to Abt’s press release
HS20/20 will focus on governance and operations in the health sector as well as on health systems strengthening, health policy, management, and health financing. HS20/20 will give specific attention to the crosscutting issues of building capacity in the countries served and the long-term sustainability of the system strengthening initiatives that it supports.
This project is the follow-on to USAID’s Abt-led Partners for Health Reformplus (PHRplus) project.
The Emerging Markets Group, my former employer when it was part of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, will partner with Abt on HS20/20 as well.
