All editors are frustrated novelists

I’ve heard that phrase many times and there’s probably some truth to it—who wouldn’t want to be a novelist?

52 projects, a site “all about projects and project-making,” recently interviewed Tom Kealey the author of The Creative Writing MFA Handbook: A Guide for Prospective Graduate Students.

Kealey, who is also a writing teacher at Stanford University, had some interesting insight on pursuing an MFA, especially when it comes to determining the best program or even if the degree is necessary. If the interview piques your interest, check out the MFA weblog that he runs.

And then get writing.
